At Tuam Scout Group, our mission is to foster the holistic development of young people. This means promoting growth across five key areas: physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual development. Through exciting activities, outdoor adventures, and community service, we empower young people to become resilient, self-sufficient, and compassionate members of society.
The Tuam Scout Group, part of the larger global Scouting movement, is a vibrant and inclusive community that welcomes children, teenagers, and young adults from Tuam and its surrounding areas.
Since our establishment in 1932, we have provided a safe, adventurous, and educational environment for our members. Our goal is to inspire young people to develop their full potential and become active, responsible citizens within their communities and beyond.
Camping, hiking, orienteering, canoeing, and other nature-based activities that develop survival and leadership skills.
Practical skills like first aid, fire safety, cooking, navigation, and environmental conservation.
Team-building exercises, games, and problem-solving challenges to enhance cooperation and collaboration.
